I see it as the universe showing us in a jocular vein how much the old ways and the old belief systems are holding us back, keeping us from seeing the truth, the real truth that is being revealed to us now.
Colleen: I dont know who it is that is in the background, but I am experiencing a wee little envy ... he has really nice hair (I'm bald) :-P
If one clings to the old belief systems, one is denying the Holy Spirit, holding it back and keeping oneself blind and leading others to blindness. That is what I meant Carl.
This is a great photo. My only question would be: Is the cardinal behind Benedict a vatican beaurocrat?
